A Little About Me
My name is Kendal and I absolutely love fabric! Something I am so lucky I got to share with my Grandma. From watching her sew costumes for my mum's dance school to then teaching me to sew at the age of 12, many of our school holidays involved a trip to our favorite craft stores. It's no wonder I wanted to pursue a career in fabric design.
My Dream
Nearing the end of my Textile Design Degree, I really thought hard about where I wanted to take things when I was in the big world, while I knew I wanted to one day have my own business, I knew I needed to gain some more skills to build on those I already had. I was lucky enough to know of a place I could go into an upholstery apprenticeship. The job was marine based but I started to take on my own projects for family and friends to push myself outside of work. Here we are now, a qualified upholsterer, ready to embark on my own journey.
